    I'd like to offer sincere best wishes to all of you on the board (and even our non-posting visitors from other schools) as we enter the holiday season.  I hope that everyone can keep this thread free of anything but positivity, and I'm going to start by saying that the past couple of weeks (as the team has underperformed our expectations), the debate and dialogue here has remained respectful of each other and treated the topics in a way that I think everyone will agree has been generally appropriate.

    Don't know what the rest of the season holds (nor even today's game), but I want to say that I am truly appreciative of the community we have here.  Thanks and an early best wishes to the start of the holiday season.

    We are all thankful for Barry´s efforts. This site is "appropriate" in no small part thanks to his work at keeping immaturity here to a minimum, so let´s try to not abuse his patience the way poor Herve wound up getting treated.

    In addition to Barry, have a happy Thanksgiving for the other 37 GW Hoops loyalists.   Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday.  Good food, family and lots of college basketball.  (If memory serve me correct, wasn't the Presidential Classic, later the Red Auerbach classic, on Thanksgiving Weekend    Life doesn't get better than that.
