POLL: Remaining non-conference games

Breaking out the polling feature since it hasn't been used in a while. With five non-conference games to go, what will GW's record be in those five games?

The five games are against Boston U (12/1), Charlotte (12/4), Coppin State (12/8), Radford (12/13), and Maryland Eastern Shore (12/22), in that order. Only the Charlotte game is on the road.

I'm curious to see how high/low others are on the team right now prior to the start of A10 action. Feel free to add any additional comments below with what you want to see from the team (in terms of general improvement or anything else).

What will GW's record be in the final five games of non-conference play?

Re: POLL: Remaining non-conference games

When we score in the 70s we win. When we don’t, we lose. We really need to figure out how to score in these last 5 games to build any sort of momentum going into conference play.

Re: POLL: Remaining non-conference games

2-3.  Probably beat BU and lose to UMES or something like that.

Would love to see coaching staff coach like their jobs depended on it.  Would really love to see a new senior hire for the staff.

Re: POLL: Remaining non-conference games

I keep thinking we are going to get it together, and then wind up disappointed. Now starting with BU, have the same hope after we have sunk to unthinkable depths. We have been playing seriously bad against some unimpressive teams and even if we win out in the OOC. there really is no excuse for that happening. Especially with this huge BCS talent upgrade we keep hearing about.
Like rolling the dice, just the odds would say we are due for some wins against low level teams. So going with 3-2, but realize it could be 1-4 or 2-3. Or worse.

Re: POLL: Remaining non-conference games

The poll has been stuck at 39 for some time. I thought I’d move it back up to the top line for now,
I find it remarkable that a slight majority-of an admittedly small sample-believe that the team will win
two games or less against some pretty sorry competition.I have us at 3-2 -Losing to Charlotte and BU.
My brain can’t take in the possibility of losing to UMES -Redford-or Coppin State!

Re: POLL: Remaining non-conference games

Not too surprising, considering the team was picked 13th in a 14 team league

Radford's KenPom is right next to ours and UMES beat Fordham, has a two point loss at St Joe's and was within four points of #17 UConn with three minutes to go.

Coppin State blows.

Re: POLL: Remaining non-conference games

2-3
Boston U (12/1) - LOSS
Charlotte (12/4) - LOSS
Coppin State (12/8) - WIN
Radford (12/13) - WIN
Maryland Eastern Shore (12/22) -  LOSS

And 3-13 in conference.

Which would make, what, 7-22?
