Now that JC is gone and some guys will likely transfer out, I expect this thread will now become a lot more active!! The new coach may be able flip some 2022 commits or signee to GW depending on what type of ties he has.

We had a commit - 6-7 wing shooter - and the Diaz twins were visiting next week. All gone now.

What's funny is that whenever we lost out on recruits, Rising would always say who knows how they'd turn out so best to just move on.
I remember people pulling out their hair that Longpre was lost when we fired ML and he didn't amount to jack squat at St. Joes.
Hoping for fun news once a new coach is in place and that all the transfers don't get scooped up before mid-April.

Jorge set to visit GW on April 27th. Possibility that the twins play separately.
GW Rising said they were set to visit before JC was fired so I guess this is good news that Caputo was able to continue that relationship.

This may mean nothing, but San Fran just signed 6’9” transfer Toni Rokac from UC San Diego. He’s a big who can step out. Maybe it doesn’t prevent Jose’s brother from going there (he has a visit while Jose is at GW), but it could knock USF off his list, which could potentially increase the chance they go somewhere together. Maybe Caputo can convince him to join his brother on the visit here and convince them to be the building the blocks for the rebirth of Colonial hoops.

Awaka was really good in last week's live period, averaging 12.9 ppg, 11.4 rpg (led all players in rebounding), and 1.1 apg
