Possible good news today?
A possible commit today?
Having trouble posting a picture of Dwayne Lee's tweet but here is the link
Its possibly because his twitter account isnt public.
For those without access it says
#RaiseHigh and then a picture that says Today is a good day.
BTW he doesnt post on twitter much at all so this appears to be something positive
I may be reaching with this but hopefully not

As I am more than antsy for a point guard, hoping that either Christian Jones or Jayden Lemond will be providing their verbal today. Would be more than OK with both as well.

Good news expected by the end of the week in 2 cases. I think these will be really good first commitments for CC and staff. Stay tuned!

He's always been careful about the way he's worded things like this. No guarantees but his comments are only as good as the information he receives or gleans from the staff involved based on their assessment of where they stand with a recruit and the admissions process. Based on the "expectation" of good news, I've come to anticipate that it will happen. And if it doesn't, we won't be as devastated as Mariners fans were yesterday and Cardinals fans were the week before in the 9th inning.

As GW fans, the last laugh has been on us for the last 6 years.
But if we land some competitively sought after recruits, which energetic Elite 8 Coach Caputo and
staff are more than capable of doing, that would be a hopeful start for the coming years.
Some new A-10 level recruits can really be the start of something at GW.

We could really use a couple of guards for next year for sure. Getting two from the Autry/Hutchinson/Jones group would be a great start for next year. Going to guess Autry and Jones since I believe they have both finished visiting all the schools that they are considering.

No update but I have not been told anything different than earlier in the week. Sometimes these things don't happen on the planned schedule ... you know editing on the commitment video takes longer than expected lol.
