Boisvert also now following Roddie Anderson UCSD and his dad
UCSD guard Roddie Anderson will be entering the transfer portal. The 6’2” freshman averaged 13.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game this season.
Anderson had 8 points on 3-10 shooting when UCSD played us. He fouled out in that game but finished the year strong, putting up 20+ points in his last three games before UCSD ended their season a couple games early due to COVID.

Jameer Nelson Jr. is transferring from UDel

Vanderbilt forward Myles Stute is transferring. Went to Gonzaga HS and GW offered him a scholarship at that time.

When it comes to the transfer portal, I'm always focused on local guys at BCS schools who were secondary/role players, so a player like Myles Stute jumps out for me. Looking at his stats, he's been a solid contributor (about 8.5 points and 25 minutes per game as a sophomore and junior) during his 3 years a Vanderbilt. He put up good enough numbers to get looks from some BCS schools, but does he want to get lost in the shuffle at another BCS school or come to GW where he could get a lot of minutes operating on the wing along with Max Edwards next season?
Did CC/Miami recruit Stute at Gonzaga? Is there a reason Stute announced his transfer before Vanderbilt's NIT game? Is he still going to play in the NIT?
Another local name in the portal is point guard Tre Wood. He played at St.John's locally, attended UMass as a freshman and has spent the last 2 years at LIU-Brooklyn

JNJr in the portal:
Nelson, a 6-foot-1 guard who began his career at George Washington, was one of the best mid-major players in the country this season and will be one of the most sought-after players in the portal.
He averaged 20.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists this season, earning first-team All-CAA honors.
Nelson finished the season playing some of his best basketball, scoring 38 points against UNC Wilmington and following it up with 30 points against North Carolina A&T.
Nelson also scored 28 against Northeastern in the CAA tournament.Nelson helped lead Delaware to the NCAA tournament in 2022, when the Blue Hens lost to Villanova in the first round.

Coach Brenden Straughn does follow him on Twitter . Didn't have a great Freshman year at Georgetown but then again who did LOL. I think Adams is proof that Caputo can turn around a talented players career

He got one stretch of games where he got 70 minutes over 4 games, but did virtually nothing in that time (2-17 from three and almost no other stats in all those minutes). Has to be a hard player to evaluate.

Johnny O'Neill from AU in the portal - looked very good against us. Shoots threes at a near 40% clip. Would think we might have some interest.

Possibly an indication of who we are prioritizing . Caputo is now also following Robert Jennings from Texas Tech.
Caputo doesn't follow all the players you see the assistants following
