Chuck Harris entered the transfer portal. Averaged 10.4 points per game at Butler while shooting 34% from 3.
Will probably stay high-major but was a GW recruit out of HS and maybe he wants to come home!
Butler has directly/indirectly taken three guards from us in the past so we deserve something in return lol.

Not a target, but Ish Leggett leaving URI. He was a a GW recruit at some point. It's turning into a more difficult job than expected for Miller.

Tough break for URI but good news for the rest of the conference. He's a very good player. URI will have to replace nearly 40ppg with the loss of Leggett, Freeman, and Martin (graduating I think).

Pretty sure he is buddies with Brayon too.

Revenge for GW.. Let's get him to come home to DC. Would be a nice back at ya to Miller

Leggett can see what we did with our top guards this year. GW is a great place for him.

Vanderbilt forward Myles Stute is transferring. Went to Gonzaga HS and GW offered him a scholarship at that time.

GW was actually in his final 5. He was class of 2019 so I guess that makes him a Mojo recruit.Idan Tretout on Twitter: "Thank you to all the schools who have recruited me through this process. These are my final 5 schools ✔️👀 / Twitter

Jennings and Savrasov are both leaving Texas Tech. Looks like there'll be a bit of a rebuild in Lubbock.
Between the three incoming freshmen and Max, it's interesting that we're still showing some interest in guards/wings. I guess adding one more who brings more of a veteran presence makes sense. It's these 6/7"-6'10" guys that we really need to come up big with.

Savrasov played this last year at Georgia Southern

Our good friend Jamison Battle is going back in the portal

Jamison had a pretty rough year at Minnesota this year, metrics were down across the board compared to the year before. Might've been tougher for him to get spacing due to the lack of talent surrounding him. Think he'll definitely be a hot commodity in the transfer market though; he's a target on defense but teams always want that kind of scoring/shooting punch and he's proved he can score at the Big 10 level.

This site does a transfer ranking and assigns stars based on projected BPR (Bayesian Performance Rating) for 2024; thought it was pretty interesting to look at the numbers (have to pay to go past the top 20 though).
Some interesting ones:
9. JNJ (4 Star Transfer)
11. Noah Fernandes (4 Star)
25. Myles Stute (3 Star)
Think it might slightly overrate players from lower conferences, but still interesting to look at.

May be too much of a stretch,of course. But Jamison knows GW,so one can dream.
A shooter with excellent size.

Don't leave out Jameer Neslon Jr., both of them could reunite at GW for their final college season! Bur seriously, I'm assuming both will end up at Top 10-15 caliber BCS schools because of the great numbers they've put up since leaving GW.

Possibly an indication of who we are prioritizing . Caputo is now also following Robert Jennings from Texas Tech.
Caputo doesn't follow all the players you see the assistants following
There appears to be interest in both directions. He is now following Caputo and Lee.

This post isn't about a 2023 transfer but a GW transfer target from last year. Some of you may remember GW made the final list for Duke transfer Joey Baker, he ended up choosing Michigan, and found himself in the exact same position (role player with limited playing time) he was at Duke. He's been getting starting time for Michigan in the NIT because two of Michigan's underclassmen are preparing for the NBA draft, but I imagine he would have made a bigger impact if he chose GW over Michigan.

We're a +200 ranked team. Anyone would have a bigger impact if they chose GW

we have interest in Yale transfer EJ Jarvis
