Ends up at JMU. They seem to do a good job recruiting down there.

Agreed. They have a pretty good athletic budget with nice facilities (although I'm a bit surprised Allen didn't end up at a higher level). I'm still hoping we can schedule a home-and-home with them at some point OOC. It seems like a no-brainer from a branding standpoint and the Dukes are usually pretty good. Despite that we have somehow not played them in 11 years.

Hopefully we hear something about Buchanan later today. I thought he was going to announce earlier in the week but there's always a delay when it comes to these things.

Any info that would make you believe he might announce today?

Just trying to get some clarity on our last four (4) scholarship slots. Have seen here recently we are still in on Massoud, Foster, Weluche-Ume, and Geronimo. Any others we should be looking out for?

I heard Georgetown is trying to make a late push for him. I would still consider George Washington the favorite here, with Fordham and New Mexico running behind them.

Why would he play for losers, the pitiful doormat of their league,in an empty arena, when he can star in the same city on team with Max and other rising stars under a young, final Four/NBA developer coach?
Max straight from KState was the A10 Rookie Of The Year,not buried on a terrible team,like he would have been up the street.

@CbbhoopsUpdates
Campbell transfer Jesus Carraleo will make his decision today. He will decide between:
George Washington
Missouri
Vanderbilt
Old Dominion
Clemson
He averaged 10.6 ppg and 5.2 rpg.

There is an under the radar grad transfer recruit... saw he was hurt last year and limited to 5 games.

Would be meaningful to see him pick GW with three high-majors in the mix. Speaks to the culture and foundation Caputo is building.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but Jordan Geronimo has committed to Maryland. It seems like it wasn't that long ago when transferring within conference for a power 5 player would have been unheard of.

Campbell transfer Jesus Carralero has committed to #Mizzou
@247SportsPortal
has learned. Averaged 10.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game last year. Was top 10 in Bog South in rebounds, steals, assists and blocks in 2021-22.

K-State transfer @IsmaelMassoud is visiting @GeorgetownHoops today

That doesn't make me happy. But hopefully he realizes his role at GW will be bigger and at Georgetown it will be no bigger than what he is leaving at K State

Obviously, Mr. Massoud is not yet smitten with us. Not a good sign.

We better not lose him to Ge%&*$town, that will be a bummer. Gotta figure Max is making a big push. Maybe Masoud just feels he needs to check out all options....
