I believe we will be adding another player from overseas shortly. This will be a frontcourt player and a necessary addition after the loss of Garrett.

Thanks for the heads up, Rising. Fingers crossed.

I would think it has to be Dayan Nessah.

Oscar Wembanyama? I’d take him

Dayan-watch continues. Great potential. 6'7" after a 6 inch growth spurt over the past couple of years. That usually means great dribbling and passing skills for someone his size. With Florida dropping out for his services, are other schools in the mix? Is there a reason why this is taking so long (it is mid-July after all)?
Yes, I'm impatient.

He’s playing for his country. I’ve been told it’s a done deal.

It would be a smart decision for any international player--or anyone looking for playing time and opportunity, combined with a good education, to come to GW under Coach Caputo.
But let's hope we are not counting our recruits before they sign.

Dayan Nessah has committed to George Washington in the class of 2024, I’m told. The 2006-born 6’7” Swiss wing has five years of developmental experience w/ Spanish powerhouse, Barcelona, under his belt. Talented prospect who still has a fair amount of upside to grow into in DC.

One of the more exciting additions in recent years, superb talent

As someone who was born well before Al Gore invented the internet, I find it absolutely amazing that I can watch things like Kenner League games and an u/18 Euro basketball game between Switzerland and Iceland on my (smart) TV. Thank you for posting GW509 and Thomas.

Thank you GW0509. Will add to my watch list especially now that we have a special interest! Go Dayan

Switzerland wins 87-63
Dayan's stat line:
19 pts
1/4 from 3
4 Rebs
3 Assists
2 TOs
2 Steals
+25 +/-
14 of those points came in the first half. Like most freshman, looks like he'll need to put on some muscle to fight for rebounds in the A10.
