The staff watched him play with the Riverside Hawks during the recruiting period. I think Loyola just had a guard/wing commit recently so maybe that helps us.

Great news! I have no idea if these guys are going to be great or not, but I really like seeing us sign players this time of year.. I'd like to think it means we're getting players we want (and who want us), and not players we're settling for (or who are settling for GW).

Great point BGF. It does seem like the guys who sign with GW early often (but not always) go on to have productive college careers. I also enjoy landing coveted players over some of our own conference members. Great job by the staff, and welcome to GW Vinny.

Looks like he also played volleyball and track. Is he of Indian descent? Traditionally Indian last name but can't find too much about him online. If so might be a good opportunity to continue the flag tradition at the games, maybe attract some Indian or Indian-American students/alums. Rougier-Roane the other signee is Canadian too.
