Canada lost their first game to Brazil 85-78. Xaivian Lee, who we'll be seeing in December with his Florida Gators team, led them with 16. Bubu didn't appear to suit up, hopefully it's not a serious injury.
If Bubu ends up playing it appears ESPN+ is carrying the broadcast when Canada takes on USA aka Georgetown at 6:00 PM ET today.

That’s nice for Georgetown to get to do this. They should be in mid season form when we play them.

Beginning to understand why they finally acquiesced to play us--and in October.

It all turned in to a farce against Brazil, which could lose by 10 points and still advance to the next round. That School Down the Street was tied at 74-74 with 5 seconds to play and at the line shooting ft´s, so Brazil (rather than risk getting blown out in OT) intentionally goaltended on the free throw attempt to lose on purpose. Not that honesty and the Evil Empire have ever been closely allied, but there are ways to win and ways to "win".
