Fiba Americup
For those looking for some basketball to watch later this month, it looks like Tyler Cavanaugh will be playing on the US team for the 2025 Fiba Americup, which begins on August 22nd.

Looks like Jean Aranguren is listed on the preliminary squad for Venezuela from the link GWAA posted above as well.
Also, Bubu Benjamin is taking part in GloblJam with Canada's U23 squad starting tomorrow. Team USA is being represented by Georgetown MBB, so Bubu gets a chance Thursday evening to beat the Hoyas twice!

Even as potential opponents, they all share a GW bond.

Thanks for putting that schedule together DMV Piranha! Another local player who will be playing for the Canadian team is Kyshawn George from the Wizards. He was born in Switzerland, but has Canadian citizenship from his father who played pro ball in Switzerland.
