We are planning on interviewing Caputo tomorrow evening for the podcast so please let me know if there's anything you'd like us to discuss/questions we should ask. Interview will probably come out on Friday morning and I'll make sure to post here

I guess the question nowadays is "does GW have the payroll to compete at the A10 level?"
Yes, that is a pretty sad statement on where college sports are now.

Thanks for asking. I'd be curious to know how the team has embraced or handled the pre-season hype. Do they feel more pressure given the higher expectations? Do they see themselves as a more confident group than say a season ago?
I'd also like to know more about transitioning from a team that a year ago at this time was planning to be extremely reliant on Jun to a team where there appears to be far more balance offensively.

Question - with a seemingly much deeper talent pool, what will be his approach to distributing playing time to keep everyone satisfied and get on a winning course? Will PT solely be based on performance in practice, or set rotations, or real time game performance?
Since I'll be attending the Florida game, my first in person game in years, what are his expectations?
thanks

Building off Gwmayhem's point about a more balanced team with significantly more shooting, how do you avoid being a team that lives by the three and dies by the three for long stretches? Obviously, Slim Castro will get his attempts inside, but what happens on a night when the shots are not falling despite getting good looks? Shooters are generally urged to keep letting it fly, but at what point do you rein it in a bit? What does the ideal ratio of threes to rim attempts look like for this team? Thanks!

These are all good questions.
That was our Achilles heel in the "exhibition" game and we don't need a season full
of potential rally stoppers, even if we occasionally make them. We had years of that recently.
Would also ask in the same vein, how heavily have you reinforced the idea of taking better shots?can you get the How are you working to get this team to share the ball more?

Ask him: During the off season, there were changes to the roster, were there any thoughts of making any additions to the coaching staff?

How do you develop, and what factors do you use in developing the OOC Schedule.

This was a phenomenal interview. He gave a 10-minute detailed answer about scheduling, talked about how he thinks about GW's commitment to basketball (including somewhat of an update on the practice facility), discussed how they're dealing with increased expectations, what he foresees as the strengths/weaknesses of the team, and more.
