Dude, would you consider stating a Gonzaga threat, rather than posting every one of their results in the other games thread? (Asking respectfully, not trying to start something or troll).
Yes, I can't believe that America's Greatest Coach's team would not have their own thread. Strange.

122-50 is the largest margin of victory in program history between two Division I teams
72 point win

Just in case someone cares. The opponent was Southern Utah. The Dude likes to give us incomplete scores or just half-time scores to keep us on our toes. But he hasn't mentioned his most hated coach - Marquette has lost at least two games.

False. I know Utah beat Mississippi valley by 94 in 2019.
You keep making up stats that are wrong 😂

At the risk of potentially opening pandora's box, and as a newer member to the board, what is the deal with the Gonzaga fixation every couple days?

American, defeated by 40 against GW, is tied with Rutgers at the Half.
Darren in the 6th man role again logged 3rd most minutes and had a quiet half
American played Wake pretty tough on the road and won their other 2 games, to put GW's 40 point win into some perspective

Game wound up closer than it seemed at the end, within 6 (later 5) with a bit less than a minute to go.
Ironically given last year, Darren sealed it with a free throw near the end--and then an almost full court pass
on a rebound to a lone Rutgers player for an easy layup.

Jun is a great kid, and I'll always be rooting for him. He was a lot better in year 1 at GW when the shooting was better. I'm not sure Rutgers was the best fit for him in terms of floor spacing. For context, in nine years under Pikiell they've been top 200 in 3P% just once, and have always been below average in terms of threes taken during that time. Also, are they poor? Their roster just isn't good enough for the Big Ten. They are starting a transfer from NJIT...
Not sure what happened at the end of the Winthrop-Arkansas game. It looked like Winthrop's Duncomb had Pringle in a headlock when collecting the ball which is obviously not okay, but Pringle also kinda went overboard after that and I felt like his extra pushing at the end was unnecessary and warranted FTs for Winthrop.
Good day for the A10. Mason won big and Rhody picked up a nice win over Yale.
Jacoi had 21 points tonight, but his Longwood squad lost in double OT to Maryland Eastern Shore.

Two good wins indeed for the A10, including Rhode Island's Quad 1 road win over a very good Yale team. Yale is a top 75 NET and top 80 KenPom, really solid road win for Archie Miller's Rhodey squad
Rhode Island has jumped 155 spots from 2023 to their present #100 KenPom

Pandora's Box it is lol. One particular poster has a fixation with Mark Few and Gonzaga even though this is a GW board. Despite repeated annual pleas to take it to the Gonzaga board, this has not yet occurred. But it is also annual tradition here when Gonzaga flames out in the tourney, this poster is the recipient of some good natured ribbing about his outlandish claims that Mark Few is "America's Greatest Coach" despite Few having never won a national championship. Two things are true on this board. This poster will hype Gonzaga all year long and then when they lose, he disappears for awhile only to resurface again the following year with the same outlandish hype and claims. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. A GW Hoops tradition.

It's every couple of days because Gonzaga does not play every day.
