Very impressive. Makes perfect sense how the team fell apart when he got hurt.

Indeed.
Does anyone know precisely how assist % is arrived at?

Assist percentage is the percentage of team field goals the player assists on when he is in the game. The point guard in JC's offense generally gets the full responsibility for either finding an open man late in the shot clock or scoring the ball in the PnR offense. In other words, his system is effectively a cheat code for finishing high in this statistic. It also helps that Armel is hardly ever coming out of the game right now. I believe he was even #1 nationally earlier in the season, and probably still ranks pretty high.

With such a lead on the A10 leaderboard I'm not entirely surprised he was number one nationally!
