The new coach at URI, Colleen Mullen, is bringing in 3 transfers who played for her at the University of Albany. Amaya Stewart (12.2 ppg, 5,1 rpg), Martina Borrellis 9.8 ppg), and Anais Levasseur (1.9 ppg).
Drexel’s Deja Evans (9.8 ppg, 6.4 rpg) has committed to Saint Joseph’s.
Also, Aaron Roussell has left Richmond to taken on the head coaching job at UVA, a well-deserved promotion. He’s been replaced by Alisa Kresge, the Vermont head coach for the past eight seasons. She’s the 5th new A10 head coach for the 2026-27 season, and we may not be through yet.
Other than that, the A10 transfer activity has been quiet.

She only played 3 games last year. Played 1, got hurt, came back but only played 2 more games (or played 2 and back for 1). Either way, foot injury sidelined her for the rest of the year. Averaged over 11 pts as a junior.
Backcourt seems to be well stocked for next year. Need to bolster the frontline with only 1 HS big signed and none returning. Fortunately, there are 55,000 players available in the portal and some are 6’1” or taller.

Coach Chelsea Banbury is bringing two of her High Point stars to VCU. Macy Spencer (18.6 ppg) and Lexi Fleming (13.5 ppg) have committed to the Rams.
Also, D’Myjah Bolds (7.4 ppg, 5 rpg), a 6’3” Soph from Western Michigan has committed to Saint Louis.
Other new coaches may look to do the same.
Neil Harrow, formerly Head Coach at Long Island U, takes the reins at Fordham.
Morgan Paige has left her post as Associate Head Coach at Kansas to become Chicago Loyola’s new Head Coach.
Coaching changes have effected the transfer rate, as the increases below illustrate.
Davidson – 4; Dayton – 1; Duquesne – 6; Fordham – 2; George Mason – 8; GW -4; La Salle – 6; Loyola Chicago – 6; Rhode Island – 7; Richmond -3; St. Bonaventure – 1; St. Louis – 2; St. Joseph’s – 1; and VCU – 2.
Most of the A10 transfers are still looking.

Memphis Jr. Cori Allen (6.5 ppg, 4.4 rpg) has committed to Dayton.
Bucknell’s Desirae Ashton (3.7 ppg) has committed to George Mason.
On the flip side:
URI’s Vanessa Harris is headed to Florida to join Tammi Reiss.
And Alexa Kinas leaves Chicago Loyola for Tulsa.

Good news always welcome - more bigs and a super point guard could help. I liked Mia, but her shot wasn't good enough, but she was only a freshman so I had hopes.

Some additional notes on Konate. Campbell had a good season, finishing tied for 2nd in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), and losing to Hofstra (55-50) in the conference championships. As a freshman, Konate was not a main contributor to the scoring, but she managed to hit 50% of her shots (on 114 attempts), and was selected to the CAA All-Rookie and All-Defensive Teams.
Lafayette’s Kay Donahue (9.6 ppg, 4.7 rpg) has committed to Saint Bonaventure.
Albina Syla, 6’5” Center (URI), is headed for University of California.
