Best as i can tell, he appears to be the 6th man for St. John's, though that is one of the best teams in the country so maybe offering their 6th man when he's still just a sophmore or junior is the way to land a guy who will become a star recruit.
I found a box score from a recent game in Myrtle Beach against Long Island Luterhan where he played 24 minutes off the bench, scored 8 points on 4 of shooting (2-2 from 3) and grabbed 4 boards.

2022 6-6 Guard out of Saint John’s college HS Chris Watson @ChrisWatson_11 tells me he has offers and interest from the following schools: VCU, Rhode Island, Howard, George Mason, La Salle, Temple, NC state, George Washington, Wake Forest, Clemson, Virginia tech and Stony Brook.

2022 3-star PG Christian Watson tells me that LSU, VCU, George Washington, and Xavier have been prioritizing him recently (@ChrisWatson_11 ). Watson tells me that he just was contacted by West Virginia.
