Here's a link that some may find interesting to look at stats from the current and past seasons. A few stats from the current season that jumped out at me are that two of our starters (Battle and Jack) are averaging 0.6 and 0.7 made 2-pt shots per game while each only attempting a little over one per game. Another was that Toro only has 11 fouls over 6 games, including one where he fouled out. Looking at Jameer's stats over his first 10 collegiate games shows that he has the potential to be a dominant all around player. Decent 2-point %, steal, assist, and scoring for a freshman. Over time as his outside shooting improves and he cuts down on the turnovers I can see him develop into an all-league player.

While perusing the stats I also noticed that Roland is currently 2nd in the nation at 25.0 ppg and leads in overall points, and Marfo is 2nd in rebounding at 12.7 rpg.

Posted this years ago, probably on Herve's board.  Thought it was worth posting again.

Thanks for sharing.

Note to everyone: there is a section on this site that I set up for GW basketball links. The site that LSF posted was already on there, but I just added the site as its own thread on the links folder.

I encourage everyone to visit the links, most of which came directly from the old site before Herve shut it down.

As the mom said in the Prego spaghetti sauce ad, "IT'S IN THERE!!!"

This is a good site, but it has some errors in the early years. It leaves off three GW seasons, 1906-1908 and 1917-1918. It also provides the wrong win-loss record for the 1912-1913 season, when compared to GW's website:

My apologies, but I have had no luck finding links to other A10 message boards.
Are the links aggregated anywhere? Thanks

Whoever posted that page is no longer a member so no one can edit.  I've asked.

FYI: The basketballforum A-10 site rarely mentions GW for obvious reasons the past several years.
I was suprised that our new coach selection didn't even result in a new thread.
Maybe this can change again if we win a few games and get more than 13 people to follow our current D-1 program.

Barry, was I too harsh or did I go outside the recommended narrative we want to put out there?
