Not that it is needed, but a shout out to DMV for his preview.  He called #5 a guy to watch in his preview.  Side he can “really shoot it”.  He torched us - not sure why the Lafayette coach did not maximize his playing time since he was almost automatic.  I would have played him a lot more for sure.

I think 2 things can both be true.
1. CC and coaching staff do a great job with halftime adjustments and schemes (a huge improvement over our last 2 coaches where it seemed to me like we did not use the break to change anything). Know that is not the case but it always felt under Jamion that we came out of half and immediately the opposition went on a 10-0 run.
2.  CC and staff need to do a bettter job with scouting and come up with a much better plan to start the game and/or have a way to change strategy without waiting for half.

Agree with Mayhem - against the stronger teams, if we wait until half to make the changes it may be too late.

I agree with your sentiments- want to see improvement.  With the major changes in the landscape of college athletics it is very difficult to compare coach eras.  Would some of thee Hobbs or Lonergam team have left for bigger conferences or more NIL rather than play 4 at GW?  Would they have even come to GW?

Not worth the time.  Just root for the school and hope to see great basketball and enjoy the ride.

As for the posters - I don’t read any of those who post where I can predict their agenda.  Just skip right over their post.

I like Autry off the bench.  Gives us some scoring when we need to give the starts a rest.  As long as he is playing 20-25 minutes a game

Coach will not be happy with multiple fouls at the end of the game - allowing our lead to be cut with no time moving off the clock.  Sloppy

Seems like we started hitting a couple of 3s.  Injury trouble on both our bigs hurt in the 1st half

Tough night for the A-10.  Lots of Ls- would have been a good night to get some wins against quality opponents to boost at large bids but almost all came up short.

Good analysis Mayhem.  Know the new metrics say 3s and in the paint.  But as CC has mentioned, we are not a great 3 point shooting team- he has said this on his post game pressers several times.  Will be interesting to see how we adjust if the 3 game trends continue on the poor 3pp it performance.

Until we can get some reliable 3 point shooting teams will learn to pack it in and force us to hit 3s.
