Donald Carey is transferring from Siena. He followed JC from Mount St. Mary's to Siena when he got the job there. We have no spots left, but something worth monitoring.
Averaged 11.3 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.1 spg per 31.4 mpg with 30 GP. 41% FG, 38% 3-pt, 82% FT. Made 55 threes last year (second on team) and is an Upper Marlboro native.

I thought GW was done with the 2020 transfer market after signing 3 BCS players, but that doesn't look to be the case. Ben Stanley would be a huge addition for GW when you look at his numbers at Hampton, but I'm guessing any low-major player who put up 22ppg/7rebs will be coveted by a bunch of BCS schools and he'll end up signing with one.

GW has no scholarships left unless someone were to leave.

Stanley's final list (no GW)

GW18, this is a great tweet. Kind of deserves it's own post and discussion. I secretly (as in, I'm afraid to say it out loud) believe this to be the case, but it's easy to see that the talent is there to have GW in meaningful conversations about being relevant in NCAA discussions.
Fingers crossed.

BGF and GW18, I feel Aaron Torres is on to something here too. I've been very positive on GW ascension toward the top of the A10 ever since we hired JC. And I feel our rise in the ranks will accelerate with the addition of so much talent in this offseason. I sure hope we play this year. But even if we don't, the future looks very bright for GW. Especially with the continued decline of our friends down the road (Georgetown), I believe GW will be the only game in town (downtown DC) and the Smith Center will be loud and crowded in just a couple of years.

Torres is right that the roster is totally revamped. I've even found it difficult to stay on top of who is sitting/playing next year.
Apologies if this is off topic, but what are realistic expectations this year? My hope was to show marked improvement this year and compete for a top half finish in the A10. Then in 2021-22 compete for an NCAA tournament bid. Am I way off?

Geno, its tough to predict anything at this point because of the uncertainty of the 2020-2021 season. We've had 2 conferences(Ivy and Patriot) cancel fall sports, and a couple BCS conferences have cancelled their non-conference football games. You'd assume that things would be somewhat back to normal by November when the college basketball season would start, but I thought things would be back to normal right now in July when COVID flared up in March!!
With all that said, whenever Lindo and Bishop are eligible, whether it's 2020-2021 or 2021-2022, I assume expectations for GW are going to be very high when you consider how well GW's freshman class played this past season. Lindo and Bishop are huge pick ups, Moyer also has the potential to be very good when you consider he has played in the ACC and SEC. The best case scenario for GW would be that all 3 of them could play together, whether its in an abbreviated 2020-2021 season or maybe 2021-2022 if the upcoming season is cancelled.
