If and when Freeman commits, where would the 2021 recruiting class rank all time for GW? Two top 150 guys has to be close to the highest ranked classes in GW history i assume.

Is it correct that absent transfers out of GW, this would mean that there are no more slots currently available (and the recruiting class would theoretically be done...for now)

Yes, theoretically. There was already a hint that we were in touch with a transfer big out of Hampton so who knows.

Ben Stanley of Hampton announced his final 6 and we are not in the running (Maryland, Dayton and Xavier each are). If the big news is Brayon Freeman, and what signs exist out there suggest that this is the case, this would be a tremendous signing. The strong class signings that come to mind are the Pops/Omar/Mike/Carl class, and the JR/Ricky Lucas class (each were top 150 players).

Shawnta and King were separate years. Mike was a year behind Shawnta Yinks was in a class with Vaughn Jones and Kwame Evans. I have little idea how prevalent player rankings were back then but rankings aside, that's one helluva recruiting class..

Just watched a Youtube interview with Brayon from February. Came across very well. Values relationships and feeling comfortable as the likely driving forces behind his decision. Mentioned feeling very comfortable on his visit to OK. State, and that Mississippi has been recruiting him since the 9th grade. Others like UCONN, TCU and Texas A&M appear to be interested but were perhaps late to the game.
Spoke highly of JC and his ability to win wherever he has been. Took pride in pointing out how DMV players are often defined by their toughness. And, mentioned that GW is "the hometown school" with a nice grin on his face. Fingers continue to be crossed.

Gwmayhem, thank you for sharing this information. I feel that Brayon sounds like a wonderful young man. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed. I was also wondering if you could post the link to his interview. I tried to locate it on Youtube but I couldn't find it. Thank you again!
