The highlight of these tournaments by far was the performance of Oregon center Dante who was 12 for 12 from the field and rebounded and defended like an NBA player as the Ducks beat Colorado. He was 10 for 10 last time they played!

As usual, dmvpiranha analyzed our season very accurately, and emphasized our problems with an offense that focused on lots of dribbling and not enough ball movement. I listened today to an account of why Kevin Durant moved from Oklahoma City to Golden State. The analyst said Durant was tired of "stickyball" with the Thunder (too much dribbling) and chose to play for the Warriors and their excellent team offense.

DMV: Thank you for all of the previews and excellent commentary this season!

I totally agree with Mayhem and GW Rising that the refs really screwed us v Duquesne. As Mayhem said so correctly, Clark tried to draw a foul; stretch did not foul him; yet the refs decided to decide the game's end with a highly questionable call. That's worth complaining about.

I agree with LA Colonial; unless Dayton does not win the tournament, it is very likely the A-10 will be a one bid conference. Richmond has an outside chance to be selected if they lose a very close game with the Flyers.

Overall Benny played well; 3-4 from the field and 2-2 ft. He has great potential.

After today's loss St Joe's is nowhere near the bubble. In fact, they weren't near the bubble before today. Only bubble teams are VCU and Richmond and they have a lot of winning to do to make the NCAA.

It will be tough for Gdub to beat Mason w/o June as Mason will likely control the Boards and score quite a bit inside.

There is no question Coach Caputo was very unhappy with the reffing at the Fordham game. And he is not usually a complainer.

For the first time in a long time GW has a plan to sell tickets by using lists of people who would be interested in coming to our games. If we can become a consistent winner, more fans will come. But it's not easy with almost every game available on TV.

By the way I have been to GW men's games every year since 1966, and the win over VCU was one of the best ever.

You can make a strong case for Pat & Keith; Pat was probably the best shooter in our history and that was before the 3 point shot. But I think Shawnta and Mescherikov brought even more to our game. Rogers in my view was our best player ever. I saw his very first game in Sacramento v Sacramento State. I still remember him waiting to come in standing next to a 7-4 guy from Sac State!

An incredible road win by Chicago State over Northwestern a week after they beat Purdue! Seems to be an unusual number of upsets this season.

Coach Caputo has so clearly demonstrated his ability to coach at GW he deserves an extension now as indication of how much he is appreciated. He has proven to be an excellent game coach, recruiter, fundraiser and media presence. He is an exception to the normal time GW would wait to take this step.
